Broomwood Football Club is a volunteer-run children´s football club based South West London. BFC train and play on Wandsworth Common at the end of Thurleigh Road, SW12 from 10.30am to noon on Saturday mornings from September through to May.
There are over 350 children playing in age groups from Reception to Year 9, with 8 teams from Year 5 to Year 9 playing in the London Saturday Youth League.
The ethos of the club is simple: for kids of all abilities to be encouraged to come and have fun playing football, and hopefully develop some skills, friendships and respect through doing so.
The club is run entirely by the parents and everyone is actively encouraged to participate from setting up cones and goals through coaching and running of the club. This is what creates the unique atmosphere - so come along, join in and help out. Forms are available to register - just click here
