Congratulations to the BFC U18 Jaguars, winners of the LCYSFL League Cup 2025/26! The Jags beat Sporting Duet 2-1 in the final, in front of a crowd of about 150!
An amazing day and amazing journey together. Good luck lads, as you embark on the next chapter.
U15 Celtics retain the League Cup!
The Broomwood U15s defended their League Cup, winning it for the second year in a row with the same core squad. It was another special day, with more great memories added to the BFC memory bank, but most importantly, we were proud to be part of the collective of BFC teams competing on finals day. It was a real honour to lift the cup once again in the green and black of our great club.

Dear Parents and Players
As we approach the end of the season and look forward to our end of season festival on Saturday it’s worth reflecting on an amazing last seven days for the club.
Last weekend we had our annual tour to Bournemouth where over 200 young footballers and their parents and supporters played their hearts out and achieved great successes across all age groups. For many it was their first tournament in some cases a first ever experience of competitive football. It was a great weekend and tremendous fun for all our boys and girls – playing the matches, enjoying the club BBQ on Saturday, wearing their tour kit with pride and even getting an ice cream from the specially commissioned BFC ice cream van!

Back in London on Saturday 9th May we had four teams representing Broomwood in the LCSYFL finals day at Barn Elms with three of our teams achieving victories. And In North London on the same day at the Capital Girls League finals day at Northolt, we saw two Broomwood teams lift their league cups - which completed unbeaten seasons and league and cup doubles for both.

All over the south of England we had hundreds of boys and girls proudly wearing their green and black shirts – representing the club with pride, skill, determination and a smile on their face. They were guided by incredible encouraging coaches supporting them with great spirit, positivity and inclusivity. And such large numbers of other parents and supporters too!

Many players in our older age groups have been with Broomwood all the way through the year groups since reception. Our U18 Jaguars boys and U18 Albion girls both had many players who signed off their BFC careers on Saturday with a cup final victory having started age 4 or 5 in the 2013/14 season. And with coaches who have been supporting them for 14 years!
​
As one of our coaches at Barn Elms noted, “Broomwood feels like a club on the up!” We could not agree more! Of course, all our successes are collective built on the support of our volunteers and are testament to the huge effort of our young footballers.
For those at the festival on Saturday have a great day and let’s celebrate and enjoy the end of another tremendous season!
